Aviation72 superb new 1/72 diecast model of Saab Draken J35F serial 10/02, Swedish Air Force located at Angelholm, Sweden in 1995. Finished in superb looking 2 tone green camouflage. Limited edition of 800 pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: The original AV72 Drakens originally came with a hideous looking incorrectly shaped canopy which made it resemble a childs toy. The PLANECRAZY Drakens have had the canopy replaced with a correctly shaped one and repainted by hand to the best colour match possible. Also the Ejector seat has been moved forward to the correct position and a more accurate looking pilot figure inserted.
The Saab 35 Draken is a Swedish fighter aircraft manufactured by Saab between 1955 and 1974. The Draken was built to replace the Saab J 29 Tunnan and, later, the fighter variant (J 32B) of the Saab 32 Lansen. The indigenous J 35 was an effective supersonic Cold War fighter that was also successfully exported to Austria, Denmark and Finland.
