Fabulous 1/200 scale model of Hawker Siddeley HS-748 Andover CC2 XS792 of 32 Squadron Royal Air Force based at RAF Northolt on Communications duties in the early 1990s. Length 4 inches, wingspan 6 inches. Very low production run of only 750 units.
XS792 was first flown on 14/01/1964, delivered to the RAF on 08/02/1965, retired from the RAF on 31/03/95, re-registered as G-BVZS and sold to Arch Aviation, flown to Kenya with registration changed to 5Y-IAK, then re-registered to 9XR-AB and subsequently written off in a landing accident at Old Fangak airfield, South Sudan in 02/2005.
