Lavochkin LA7 – 156th IAP, Dolgushin, Soviet Air Force

Superbly accurate 1/72 scale model from Altaya of the Lavochkin LA7 Soviet fighter serial 93 of the 156th IAP, 215th IAD, 8th IAK, as flown by CO Sub.Col.Sergey Fedorovich Dolgushin (17 victories), based at Kluzov airfield, Germany in April 1945. Camouflage: Russian medium Blue-Grey on the upper surfaces with light blue-gray on the under surfaces. The nose was Red with a Hero of the Soviet Union medal painted on it and the tail was finished in red and white stripes.

Perfect accompaniment to the Corgi range of 1/72 WW2 aircraft. Has to be seen to be appreciated. Complete with optional undercarriage positions and stand in a sealed plastic blister which is slightly crushed, though the model is fine.
