The Fiat G55 was a single-seater Italian fighter plane designed by Giuseppe Gabrielli and manufactured by Fiat. The  G55 as flown by Capitano Giovanni Bonet has his name inscribed in white on both sides of the nose. Painted with a dark green upper side and grey underside, the Italian green, orange and white insignia feature on the side alongside the number 5 and also on the tail. An interesting detail is the reproduction of the Pitot tubes (pressure measuring instruments) on the wings. More realism is added with the rusty exhaust tubes running along the front fuselage.
